Photo book/scrap book - sent home in 1918
Took some photos of a fairly delicate old book at Mum and Dad's. Dad's maternal grandfather (Richard Worden) sent it back as a gift to his family in Australia while he was serving overseas during WWI. I think, at the time, he was stationed with records groups in various locations, including Alexandria, and sent this book on Jerusalem back. The ( Read more... ) -

Craft
Still a bit off colour, and suffering (with great indignation) an enormous bruise from today's blood tests.
All I am doing at present is sniffling, coughing, working and scrambling to get craft done for Christmas.
I finished the baby's blanket and bunny, and have embarked on two small craft projects for the sister in law and the godchildrens mum. ( Read more... ) -

Off on trip
On train into international airport - plane leaves about 5 hours from now but need to check in at least 3 hours before apparently.
Mum and Dad settled into flat.
Hopefully I haven't forgotten anything!
Flight out is VA 1 to LAX and VA 6016 to Chicago

Summer project
The cross-stitch project is slow - I haven't touched it since last summer with all the knitting I ended up doing.
Progress is slow, and it looks rather abstract at this point, but progress is progress.
