Though I'm rooting for Asada Mao in this Mao Yu-na winter olympics thingy, if Yu-na's won, she's won. She must've been better so what's all this sour grapes complaining about foul play? I've not actually caught their routines but from what I heard, Yu-na was in fact better than Mao so.... *shrug*

lol yeah! New point I hear, she got caught in the ice twice! :\ we'd be happy for her if she wins fair and square and not complain when her "so called rival" does well :\ :\

No, I haven't! I'd ask if you were kidding me, but I can totally see something like that happening on 2ch.

I was in the teachers' room at one of my elementary schools for the short program, and they had a TV set up for it. The disappointment was palpable, but no one was shell shocked or anything. I think the internet just magnifies the ugly in people.

same with me. although i love mao, i really have to hand it to yu-na. i saw her routine, it was amazing. she really is a great skater, they both are.
