Syd Barrett's dead at 60.
I love the work he did when he co-founded Pink Floyd back in the 60's. Arnold Layne, See Emily Play, and several other songs come to mind.
He'll be missed. -
Da Vinci Code
I just came home from seeing that movie.
Other than being a bit predictible re: who's behind all things, I really liked it. The music by Hans Zimmer was good, and I enjoyed the scenes in the Louvre since they reminded me of the time I went there (back in '99... y'know, last century).
Now I have to read the book. -

I had some shrimp this weekend that didn't quite agree with me, so I've spent a day and a half recuperating from a nasty food intoxication.
Shrimp are the evil, tasty overlords of the sea. -

My sister's getting married tomorrow night. That leaves me as the sole remaining unmarried son in this household.

Pink Floyd Laser Spectacular
So tonight I went (on my own since a friend of mine couldn't make it due to too much work) to see the Pink Floyd Laser Spectacular show, on the City Theater (here in Monterrey). Although it could never compare to the light shows that PF had on their concerts (obviously), it was still pretty neat. -
Quick update
* Still working, which is good.
* Still single, which isn't quite so good but not bad either.
* Still owing a shitload of money to school, which is not good.
* Got broadband access to the 'net now, which kicks major ass.
* And my cat's gonna have her kittens any day now.
