Sounds like you got a little shell-shocked due to events that occurred at the convention. It is not a good idea to judge your social skills and experiences based solely off things that happen at a furry convention. I suggest starting out slow with a few friends in your local community and see how things develop over time. They best way to find a mate is to find a good friend. It's important to be someone's friend first, and then if things go deeper, you have a good foundation to build upon. Who needs friends? Everyone does really.
