1. Monday- gouged my right hand with a trowel while I was planting tomatoes
   
2. Tuesday- was trying to light pellet stove; as furballs came flying through (twice) I burnt my left hand with the flame torch
   
3. Wednesday- walking outside (bare feet) and stumbled into a rock... broke my right baby toe and have a flap of skin/"meat" hanging there. It's turned a ' ( Read more... )

I'm- for the most part- no longer expected to *watch* the step-HeadHunters other than for the short times before and after school. There's no more of him grabbing his keys and heading to the door without taking his youngest with him. It sort of sunk home when he was going to head for the store for milk...

Tensions have eased somewhat a bit lately- at least for me and mine.

As of the latest bout of lies from the step-HeadHunters, I do and have very little to do with them. I still do the usual mornings of supervising and making sure everything is set and ready for school, and still get from the bus stop for after school... but that's where my level of ( Read more... )

It's amazing how just a few small changes have relieved SO MUCH tension for me.....

Things are far from ideal, but it's better.

As of last night, the decision (by someone other than me) has been made. Little One and Older One are going to be moved to the upstairs (bigger) bedroom; Permanent One and Visiting One are going to be moved to the downstairs ( Read more... )

 
Clearing the air on a few things.....

1. If Tom and I decide to seperate for a bit, it will be set up so there's as little negative impact on the HeadHunters as possible. I'll still be there in the morning from the time Tom has to go to work until Lin goes to school, and I'll be there for Lin from the bus after school until Tom is back from work. ( Read more... )
