I want to go to grad school. I really really really want to go. I see it as a stepping stone to change the world, but there's so much more riding on this. It's not just my aspirations of solving global warming and hugging trees with an equation for the rest of my life. I want to see how much gumption I have. I trudged through science and math

just so you know - meredith is a better name to drop than western, the ecu of the mountains. and if you get into a medium-level school for a masters program, as many of my professors pointed out, good grades there will get you into a great phd program
