We're still in the underground city, but I think I've grown as accustomed to the smell as I can be, and Badou's bleeding has stopped. Overall, it's no longer overwhelming.

Badou will be all right. There's not much to eat here, but it's not horrible. Rooftops are bearable, and I'm close enough to keep an eye on everyone.

We went out as a group last night to see Phantom of the Opera, and the humans had dinner at Club 21. We even got Badou into a suit, so I suppose the boys deserved their one night of drunken revelry before we pack up and head back ( Read more... ) -

Alice and I are going out horseback riding later tonight. Tomorrow I'll take Badou and Haine upstate to teach them. Someplace with both palominos and pintos. It might be sunny, but secluded enough that it shouldn't matter ( Read more... ) -

We've paused for a rest on our cross-country trip to New York. Badou and Haine are freshening up removing the hatred and vomit from their persons. I believe Edward is off trying to clean out his car.
I have some time to waste until we're ready to go again. Alice, you never told me what we'll be doing in New York later. -

Badou and Haine are here. It's been raining all week, as usual, but it's supposed to stop on Sunday. Perhaps we'll go to the beach then. Or on our hike.
Edward and Emmett have begun a mini-war over Debussy and teddy bears. I'm staying out of it, where it's relatively safe. Though I did stumble across an encouraging song to help Emmett along in his ( Read more... ) -

We're home now. Alaska wasn't bad, circumstances aside. I would suggest a minivan to Edward in case of a next time if I thought he would ever swallow his pride enough to drive it ( Read more... )
