So I started out on Amazon.com looking for an Easy Bake oven. Since I'm living it up in a kitchen-less dorm again this year, I figure I need to find a way to not sacrifice my love of baked goods. Amazon.com, however, doesn't seem to be selling it any cheaper than Target, so I moved on to looking for the next thing I want to buy ( Read more... )

WHOA YOUR LAYOUT CHANGED.
okay--why are 12 and thirteen on that list the same thing but one is $98 and the other is $138? Is there some secret I don't know about why they are so differently priced?

also. amazon. amazon. amazon. <3
would you be allowed and easy bake oven in your dorm? what about a convection/toaster oven thing? and now I've found a toaster that also poaches eggs. yum. eggs in a basket!
I love the internet.

Yes, yes! I never really liked my last layout.. even though I definitely haven't changed it in like two years. It finally reached a priority on my to-do list, so happy day! :D

And, haha, I don't have any idea why there's a 40-dollar discrepancy. I was kinda wondering the same thing, but after you asked, I actually really, really tried to find a difference. And no. Can't find any. Other thing I don't understand- "The Art of.." any other movie is priced in the 20-40 dollar range. Why on earth is Monsters, Inc worth several times that?

Amazon is, in fact, love. :)

I'm not actually sure if we're allowed to have an Easy Bake oven or not, but the nice thing about being best friends (and living with) the RA is that you get special privileges. Like dorm-fresh miniature cakes and cookies. If we turn the Easy Bake oven into a floor activity, we might even get the school to pay for it. I might be taking this too far. :)

Man, I change mine every few months. = P It's so much fun to have new ones!

How weird, maybe it's a-- conspiracy! AHH!!! Well it could be more expensive because of Sully's fur. I mean, that stuff was crazy. (I just watched a cake competition where they made Sully and his fur was CRAZY in frosting)

it really is, they have everything. Or at least, close enough to it.

mmm that would be pretty cool. And you can never go too far with baking! = P okay, maybe you can...
nahh

Haha, it IS really fun to have a new one! I should make a point to switch it more often. :D

WOWW- that sounds insane!! I'd love to see a picture of that cake. It sounds possibly Ace of Cakes worthy. What show did you see it on? I love watching those crazy cake shows on the Food Network. On the Monster's Inc special features, they talk about how impossible it would've been to animate Sully without computers because of all the long fur. They said if they tried to get traditional animators to do that movie, they all would've quit. Any self-respecting person would. :)

Also, I've never had poached eggs. I don't even know what is involved in poaching an egg. It is, however, on my to-do list.

It's okay, I'm not strongly attached to toasters. I don't even like toast.

YAAYY SMOOTHIES!!! XD
Have you been going to 99 cent smoothie days at Planet Smoothie? I've gone to both of them that have happened since I got home, and it's freaking AMAZING. Huge delicious smoothies for a measely 99 cents plus tax. I think the next one is August 8, if you're interested. :D

We don't have a Planet Smoothie in CS. :( Is there one in Sarasoder?

UGH, That sucks so badly! I finally realized why I assumed everyone in the world had Planet Smoothie smoothies as much as I have them.. http://planetsmoothie.com/Locations.aspx
Orlando must be like an unofficial headquarters for them. It seems the closest PS to Sarasoder is in Brandon.. which isn't actually all that close. Freaking half the locations they have in Florida are within 20-25 minutes from my house. I had no idea. I feel really bad now for the rest of this delicious smoothie-deprived state. :(

Haha, I think it must be Billy considering that the author's tags on the list are "billy m" and "ringling." lol

Most of these books are in the library... you should check them out! Avner has invented "book pirating." You scan the pages that you find really good or especially inspirational...and just plan to buy the book later. But really, these are a great reference, and I hope to buy all of them, too. I'm still bummed that the Art of Monsters Inc. is out of print. That's my favorite.

Also, the Art of Kung Fu Panda is VERY good and worth the $30, whether you have it or not. :) I binged, too.

Monsters, Inc is my favorite Pixar too! Have you ever been to the Laugh Floor at Disney's Magic Kingdom? It was surprisingly really impressive to me, and completely Monsters, Inc oriented. Love it. :D I've found most of their Pixar attractions very hit-or-miss, though. Like the Finding Nemo the Musical.. was kinda the worst thing I've ever seen in my life. It made me so freaking angry, because they made all the characters very one-dimensional, and sometimes not even like the actual personalities in the movie. I had to get up and leave early. I couldn't handle that degree of awful ( ... )

Haha, no! Actually I haven't been to that part of the Magic Kingdom. Sadly, I've only been to Disney world twice--and once was when I was four, so I don't really remember all that much. I really have to get over there this year sometime. I'll eat Ramen for a week or something so that I can afford it. XD ( ... )
