So the world cup has opened and many hours a day can be spent watching nothing but soccer. Naturally, I am doing this. Though I have a date with some friends for Italian ice cream tomorrow. So today I´ve been bonding with my host mom and reading. Some days I feel I can tell that she appreciates having something like a daughter in the house. Today was stressful in the host family. So I found out that I do not have to tutor this weekend. Upside: I can do something else. Downside: I was hoping I´d make some money. All in all the situation is not dire though. Today. With my host family. they were nice enough to drop Al off at the airport and we didn´t have to take the train. Al did not want to leave Europe but unfortunately he has to work and fortunately has to get things ready for moving to Orlando. So yesterday I met up with Mika, her name means pretty happy girl. From what I know of her it is true. We went over to my favorite ice cream cafe. So I had to be bold and try something new.
