So I found out yesterday that my grandmother who lives in New York is dead as of yesterday morning. She was 68 and the absolute shock of it just won´t go away. When I talked to my mom she was telling me that she had bad news and that she was so sorry and I was sure that she would tell me my 98 year old great grandmother had died. So after having spent 3 months walking around wearing many layers spring finally decided to show up and I am completely overjoyed about it. I don´t have to wear my wool coat anymore or be cold. so being with my host family over easter weekend has been relaxing and it is nice to be well taken care of. they feed me well. it is nice to talk to them and I have the chance to read. last night I read, and read, and read had a glass of wine while eating and it was nice to just relax and not be on the go. i of course had the option to call friends ( Read more... )

so i am back in Bochum spending my mini easter break with my atheist family, God love them, i sure do. Hope to find a protestant church to go to that has a cool easter service like the sunrise service at All Saints. We´ll see.
