I was sitting inside my house watching TV at just past 8 tonight when it happened. I heard a collision and a yelping outside on the road, so I quickly grabbed my phone and told my sister to stay inside while I ran outside to see what had happened, expecting the worst. The driver had never stopped. A passerby & his wife in their 4WD saw me come out

Aw gosh, that is just awful. I can't understand people who can do these kinds of things, and just leave! Heartless bastards. Dogs are like children to some people.

And don't worry, it sounds like you did as much as you could. It's hard trying to explain something like that to a youngin.

Hey Amz, thanks a lot for the words. Was a difficult night but these things happen & you just have to take them as they come I suppose. It definitely shook me up a bit, but I did what I could so at least I've got a clean conscience, unlike the f-ers who ran over her. I hope it's been tearing at them.

Annnyyyway, thanks for the B'day wishes & same to you. What'd you get up to to celebrate?
