I just returned from Las Vegas and had a really, really fun time. And I like my job! And I'm taking a very cool class that I like.

Really? The beginning of Tropic of Cancer is the best. I almost believe Henry Miller wrote the rest of the book to be read while mildly distracted.
Literature more on the environmental side, or something like that. But law school is fun and cool and challenging, right?

I think that may be why I've not been able to get through ToC. I'm in heavily detailed reading mode, and the book is not of that kind. Which, on the other hand, probably means it would be good for me to read it. :)
