Omg I am so stressed out and just down right miserable with my life right now. Today I got a letter in the mail saying that since my husband gets $300 a week for unemployment that our food stamp benefits are now going to be cut in half. How am I suppose to feed a family of 4 with $200 a MONTH?!?!? I can't feed us with healthy foods for that amount

I know! it is stupid. I can deal with the food money being cut but not the medical! I NEED it, badly!

That is awful. You guys are not making that much, how can they take it away?
We show an income of $800-$1000 a month 9hubby is self employed) and we get medicaid, heap and $500 in food stamps a month.

I know right? I don't get it. We were only getting $243 a month from my husbands veterans benefits starting out so they gave us medical and $600 in food stamps. But once I turned in the paperwork for unemployment they totally cut all our stuff! He is only getting about $330 a week in unemployment... that doesn't even cover our rent! Plus we have other bills - water, gas, electricity, etc... I have no clue how we are going to make it. The $600 in food was a lot for us, I will admit but now we are getting $200... I mean I don't see why they cut it down so much and I don't see why they took our medical away! They said that since my husband makes over $448 a month that we don't qualify for medicaid. I don't get it :(
