So. I'm officially getting divorced. The paperwork is filed, the parenting time is allocated, now we're just waiting on our lawyers to sort it all out and that 90 days to be up. Took Red to the pediatrician. She's concerned about his behavior. Took him to a referral appointment - score "highly at risk" for an autism spectrum disorder using the metrics - and the therapist/doctor/whoever she was agrees that something is just.... off ( Read more... ) -

After having an awful time nursing #1, and stopping after about 4-5 weeks, I was DETERMINED to make it at least to 1 with #2, ideally until 2. However, this kid is driving me up the wall. Lots of randoms
In celebration of 4 months breastfeeding, I bought some stuffs. Motherhood had a "buy 3, get 1 free" sale. So I got 4 REAL nursing bras, and 4 nursing shirts! Up until now I've been wearing nursing tanks and maternity shirts... But now I feel like a real person, and I love it. :)

Breastfeeding question and move update!
Alright so Finn the chunker is going through a growth spurt. He's wanting to feed every hour from about 4pm to 12am before he racks out for the night to sleep in 4 hour stretches. I've been so stressed out lately from this move that my milk has taken a hit.

One. I have a two year old. Wtf. SERIOUSLY. Sometimes, he does things and it just hits me that he's not my baby anymore. He's a little kid!
Two., said two year old is allergic to cats. GREAT. We found a FANTASTIC home for our awesome cat, so I'm not that torn up with worry, but I sure will miss him!

SWEET. Now Finn has a rash! I've been instructed to watch for swelling and spreading.
It extends from the crown of his head, to the bottom of his shoulder blades; and the entire width of his back.
Completely random. Nothing has changed in his life. No fever. AUGH.

I had mastitis/seriously clogged duct last week, and now this?!
(for the record, I didnt get antibiotic last week, so I think it was just a clogged duct and not the cause of this)
His tongue has been white for a few weeks, but it just looked like a coating of milk. Now he has a white spot on the inside of his cheek, his lips are ( Read more... )
