See??? I had just vented my "sewist" spleen venom on the poor guy who was interviewing for a position here. And now you've gotten me all riled up again.

Was he claiming to be a sewist, interviewing for a position as a tailor... or just standing too close to the 5" gun?

Just standing too close. Fortunately for him, I wasn't running the interview and everyone was in CA.

Well, if you KNOW any sewists, maybe one of them could make him a Mamluk firecoat. For next time.

No idea where it came from. It turns up on hipster sewing blogs and has been adopted by a lot of the sewing industry, to my deep disgust.
