Well, I haven't breathed a sigh of relief yet, but it looks like Miss Coconut is on her way to a full recovery.  After a few touch & go days of her dropping a bit more weight & losing interest in food, she is now more alert & eating veggies.  She's up to 725-750 grams from 675 (my scale isn't the most accurate), and ate some lettuce & half a baby ( Read more... )

Had a rough last couple of days.  Coconut had been losing weight, and after getting special nutritional supplements, still wasn't putting any weight on.  So I took her to the vet yesterday, and found out that her teeth had grown in and trapped her tongue, so she was having trouble swallowing.  Fortunately, they can do something about it... namely ( Read more... )
