I'm finally making my way through the huge backlog of fic that has accumulated since I've been busy, and this was first on my list. Just read all three available parts and now I need more! Like, right now lol. This fic is awesome, you're awesome. Kudos on the detailing, just enough to make it heartbreaking, but not too much that it reduces me to an emo-level of depression lol. Job very well done, miss.

Oh, thanks all over the place. I really appreciate hearing your feedback on the angst - I went back and forth with how much was too much, how explicit was too explicit. I'm glad you felt like it toed the line without going over. That's what I was aiming for! I'm into the last section now - it was stubborn coming, and I hope to post it by the weekend. Thank you so much for taking the time to comment with your lovely sentiments, and for reading!

Goodness me, I thought that bastard Russell was going to choke Quinn with his belt too.

Oh, thanks thanks thanks. I'm so glad it was a powerful read for you, and I'm always really flattered to hear that people have strong emotions reading things I've written. That's a very high compliment, IMO. And, re: door-kicking Santana, I LOVE a good rescue, so I'm glad you liked it!

I'm working on the next part now, and hope to have it up this weekend.

Thanks for reading, and thanks for taking the time to comment!

Very powerful stuff. I'm grateful you're writing this so well. Some use abuse in fic as sensationalism, and you're addressing the issue so realistically, particularly from the point of view of the abused. Accepting the abuse and acknowledging that change needs to occur are very difficult concepts, and are completely different from actually beginning to seek help and get away from the abuse. Both of my parents were abused in their youth, and they each had a different response/way of moving away from it. *shakes head free of second-hand memories* Anyway, just had to give some feedback for this since you did such an excellent job writing about such a sensitive subject.

Now onto the next part. :)
