USA for three of days
drank every day... for most of the day
hung out with 'say anything'
strolled around NY
and now back to life

looking back on it, i had a fucking WICKED weekend. all around good time. worked a bunch, partied even more, and it being monday, got tonnes of work and editing done. i've got 3 fully edited essays ready for submission, and by scheduled standards, am offically 1 day ahead in my work.
no time to slack now though.

today i got an A+ on an in class test, and i turned down sex with an amazing girl. if i wasn't above killing myself, i would.. and if i wasn't above conforming, i would.. and if i wasn't above the rest of it.. i'd do it.

had a halloween party last night, it was pretty sweet. i drank 8 cold shots and 3 beer, as well as other 'consumables'. there were tonnes of people there (as it was a 'two house party') and i got pretty drunk. drunkest i've been in a long time to be truthful.. which made for a great today ( Read more... )

the weekend before last (while quite drunk, wandering the streets of fredericton alone) i thought up a proposition for a philosophy essay that i had to write for a philosophy class. i was quite impressed with myself, so i wrote it down, and (though in extremely rough format) handed it in to my prof (who has a phd. in existentialist philosophy). the worst part about arguing with one of the masses (who you know has no definitive concept of anything, ex-life, death, love, self, etc...) is that no matter how much they prove your arguments with every word that escapes their lips, they'll never understand it. and no matter how you explain it, their blank doeful stare fills you with pity; not ( Read more... )

wednesday: mid-term on 'the republic'
friday: mid-term on conflict in the middle east, young conservative pub-crawl
