Colburn came home tonight to be with us. He was very out of it and anxious and breathing way faster than he was supposed to, so I did what Tina always does to calm me down. I read to him. One of my favorites. The Magician's Nephew by C.S. Louis. And after about two hours or so of reading he was completely calm, sleeping, breathing at a normal rate

thank you my dear. i was supposed to come down to ferndale todya, but plans were naturally cancelled because of colburn's death. so i will be down next tuesday til like friday. so we should for sure hang out.
