Fourteen inning games are immeasurably more enjoyable when it isn't freezing and you have company. Both of these conditions were met last night, and the Mets' defeat of the Nationals in the bottom of the fourteenth after two wild pitches and a throwing error was a hoot, and 5/9ths of another hoot.
