I do too. I just hope there's black background for it next time. I'm thinking the demon smoke behind the title may have been a one time only thing. Or at least, I hope it was. I like the contrast between the title and the plain background better. Although, as usual, they didn't call to ask me what I thought. :)
And I liked Ruby too. And from the little bit she was in the episode, it seemed like she could act, which is always a bonus.
As for Dean's part. There is no way Sammy hadn't seen it before. But maybe he hadn't seen it in that, ugh, type of scenario.

Ah, no love for the demon smoke? I suspect it isn't going anywhere as it jives with Kripke's "It's WAR, Baby!" theme for the season. Of course, they didn't call me, either, so who knows ;)

Agreed. I'm very optimistic about Miss Ruby :) I definitely thought she did better than Tamara.

Actually, by "part" I did mean Teh Sex, heh. Growing up in such close quarters, Sam must have walked in on big brother, before. Of course, fandom already its theories on the particular "scenario", heh :P

Whenever I see this kind of dialogue, "You/we are just animals, you/we have evil in you/us, blah, blah, blah," I just want someone to yell out, "Yes, but we also have something more that guides us away from the dark," instead of just standing around looking guilty. Blegh.
I so loved Bobby this episode. That line you quoted was the best in the episode and perfect for him. :D
I'm curious about Ruby, and her knife 'o demon killing. I do wonder, however, if she went to Kristen Bell's makeup artist because I think she has a Veronica Mars look about her.
Good episode, I thought, generally, and I hope we see Tamara again.

Right?! I know that the boys are all Existential Crisis right now, but how can you fight evil if you can't even put into words why human kind is worth defending? Sam was going to be a lawyer for cry yi.

Oh, yes, agreed! I didn't bring enough love for Bobby! The boys sure need him, right now. (Heck, I'm sure they needed him growing up, too.) And I seriously did not recognize him in the suit, heh.

She totally does! Especially the hair. I was actually a fan of Veronica's S1 Chloe-like hair, and would have wished it for Ruby, but I guess it would have been too much like Meg? And also maybe not enticing enough for the boy audience the network is obviously going after.

Probably because then he can tell himself that he didn't die because of the deal. Not that he won't *still* go to hell, but it's not Sam's FAULT that he's dead. Or some such shit.

Oh, MAN, I have to get dunked in holy water? Boo. But I guess getting to make out with Jensen Ackles for who knows how many takes kinda makes up for it. Maybe. I really hope I don't screw up my lines or blocking! =-O
