In lieu of actual content, here's a poll. There's no theme or logic to this particular list of shows except that I kinda heart them. Yes, even Hellcats. Erm, but not so much Smallville. It's complicated.

i really want to watch "hellcats" (mainly to support my friend who works on the show), but am OCD and refuse to start in the middle. will either try to dl or wait for dvds. :)

and i will watch the series finale of smallville (because i am a freak for pilots and finales). :)

I put Hellcats on my list for Ben Browder and Gale Harold (and then Browder bailed), but surprised myself by actually enjoying it :) What does your friend do?

I'm SO RELIEVED that Smallville's FINALLY ending and am really trying not to get my hopes up for the finale, but as I was just telling bigboobedcanuck, I have been feeling very delusional, lately. (I'm an old-school Redemptionista/Delusional 'Shipper after all.) They're gearing up to HURT MY FEELINGS one last terrible time, I just know it, and yet the hope, she burns :|

i didn't even know that either ben or gale were on (or had planned to be on). my friend is an editor. his wife is a very good friend of mine, and i feel bad for not supporting his last show. :)

i hear you re. SV ending, but that's the way the cookie crumbles for us delusional 'shippers. (sirius/remus, anyone?) :/

And by "Were you watching / Are you watching / Will you watch" I'm going to take that to mean "ever". Most of these I'm familiar with or have seen at least one episode of, but by no means am I up to date on any of them. I have been meaning to catch up on The Vampire Diaries, though. Perhaps soon...

Hi Fenny! Just realized we're not even LJ friends, so hello there!
Back 'atcha :) I'm not much of an ljer, but I do I have my episodes of commentiness and am going to try (again) to post more, so forewarned and all that.

And by "Were you watching / Are you watching / Will you watch" I'm going to take that to mean "ever". Most of these I'm familiar with or have seen at least one episode of, but by no means am I up to date on any of them.
That works! I was actually curious about shows that people maybe watch (casually or whatever) but don't post about. Are you watching Top Chef All-Stars?

Word. I get all into it for a week or so, then it becomes a drag and a burden, so I check out for a year. I'm in the "all into it" phase at the moment, but I've cut down my default F-List view so I'm hoping to be inspired to stay around this time.

I started watching this season of Top Chef: All Stars when my boyfriend Jimmy Fallon was on an episode, and I've been semi-paying attention since. I never saw the season that featured the Blais guy, but once we got one of his Flip Burger restaurants I was all about him. He's a bit of a douche, but he knows how to make a milkshake, okay.

And TVD -- I drool over Damon (this is Ian Somerhalder, right? Or did I mix them up... whatevz, I enjoy Ian) and yawn through Stefan (even though he is pretty), so I'm curious to see what's up.

I'm in the "all into it" phase at the moment, but I've cut down my default F-List view so I'm hoping to be inspired to stay around this time.
Looks like we're both in that phase - for a variety of reasons :) My problem is that once I get "all into it" it's too easy to lose HOURS, and I already have time management issues! I should look into that whole "set boundaries" thing.

Heh, I have my Blais issues, but I do appreciate how much he cares, and he really is very creative. My other favorites are gone anyway, so it's easy to root for him now. And oh, I DO appreciate a good burger and shake. When we were in NYC in January, BBC and I fell hard for Shake Shack :)

I've watched in the past White Collar and Merlin, though I'm not up to date with the current seasons.

I *am* up to date on Glee and H50.

And I plan to watch TVD, Justified, Hellcats and Sherlock. (Have downloaded, but not watched yet).

Basically, I keep up to date with just a few shows but mostly I download in bulk, like with Hellcats and Justified, and then plan to sit and watch when the mood strikes me/I'm on holidays from uni etc.

I *am* up to date on Glee and H50.
The Smallville>Stargate: Atlantis>Merlin>Sherlock places I lurk were ALL OVER H50 as the next fun and pretty thing and they've never steered me wrong, so I started picking it up online or when Castle was in reruns, and my affection for it continues to grow. Also, my yen to vacation in Hawaii :)

And I plan to watch TVD, Justified, Hellcats and Sherlock. (Have downloaded, but not watched yet).
I watch them all, but highly recommend Justified and Sherlock. Exciting new crime! I suspect that Justified would make for a wonderful marathon. Mmmm, Tim Olyphant :)

Heh, I only recently got back into watching TV online (new laptop), which is probably bad for an addict like me, but it's so great that we have more control than we've ever had before over how we consume TV. We really can indulge our whims :)

It absolutely counts! And that was my original intention before I got sucked into (god help me) cheerleader drama. But Gale with the hair and the white dress shirts is working for me, oh yes.

Nah, my bad. I was all ambiguous and stuff. I worded it that way mostly because White Collar just had its finale and In Plain Sight hasn't started up again. And I put qualifiers on SV and SPN 'cause I know a lot of people used to watch 'em and don't anymore, heh.
