Don't know if anyone's going to care about this except Laurie (who I know's a fan), but Guy Gavriel Kay's newest book "Under Heaven" comes out Saturday. I'll be picking it up, and while I don't know if it'l be his best, he's an awesome author and you should all at least think about it. -

Went to Wendy's today, on a whim, for the first time in like 10 years. Turns out Wendy's is the fat person fast food place now. Got a spicy chicken combo (not nearly as good as I remembered) and the girl from the back bring out my burger & fries, I think "Whoa... that's a whole lotta fries. Finally got out to see Avatar (yep, that's me, right on top of the movie industry... and yet the theater was still full O_o) and I was impressed. I'm glad I didn't go see it in IMAX, there were a couple of scenes on regular sized 3D that made me woozy, at IMAX I woulda definitely lost my overpriced concession stand cookies ( Read more... ) -
