[Ginny Weasley is at work when she hears the distant bang and crack of the fireworks display. At first, she pays no mind to it, but something makes her feel like checking the network just in case, and... Merlin's beard, she was right.]

Fred!

[... wait, this is actually sort of brilliant.]

You finished them!

Indeed I did. Suppose I've got past-us to thank, half the work was already done.

[So much grinning. This is just the excitement he needed to take his mind off of things. If only George was here to see--]

So, what d'you think? Worthy of an "O", or am I stuck at "Exceeds Expectations?"

The video doesn't do them justice at all, but... oh Merlin, did you have to wait until I was at work before you-

[Oh Godric's balls, she really wants to just duck out and take her break now but then she'd want to stay the whole time.]

How are they? Any customers? I'd say they're definitely an "O," aren't they always?

[Brb, getting over the awe of EPIC fireworks. Not since his City insulting fireworks has explosives looked so good...he should tell Fred about those later, Maybe.]

That is the best advertising I've ever seen. Ever. I am quite impressed by those fireworks, Fred.

...You ever made fireworks that insult people?

[He doesn't wanna brag, buuut...]

[He raises his eyebrows, smirking playfully.]

Who do you think I am, mate? Figured filling the sky with exploding expletives wasn't the best of marketing techniques, but we've got plenty to spare.

[Again with the "we." Maybe this distraction was too much of a distraction, he's not guarding himself well enough.]

[Hanna grins, and he doesn't seem to notice the we. Or if he does, he says nothing.]

Excellent! I made insulting fireworks, once. They were great. Insulted the deities, the City, everything. It was awesome.

That's bloody brilliant, Hanna. We'll have to join forces and throw ourselves an anti-City celebration someday.

Impressive. I was pretty sure the Underground was coming down around me a minute ago.

[FLATTERED.]

Well, I should hardly think it's the coolest ever. Always plenty of room for improvement.

[But there is so much grinning anyway. :D]

I can't wait to see them improved, then!

They're not going to come after me, are they? 'Cause I was going to to go flying tonight and I'd rather not get singed.

If they do, just give 'em a good swat and they should head the other way. Or multiply. I'm not entirely sure with half this lot.

[...wat. Business-like smiles are a gooo.]

Nothing to be frightened of, love. Just a friendly show of lights.

But the sound, darling-dear, dear-darling, the sound rips ears and leaves them raw and there's blood somewhere in them, blood from all the chaos.

Now why would you do such a thing, I wonder?

Well there's some pleasant imagery if I ever heard it. I assure you, any, ah, bleeding was highly unintentional. Many apologies.
