it is bewilderingly normal as it is bizarre. I think that's just perfect.
Your writing style is so elegant and unique; I love it. And their unique brand of domesticity seemed so in-character, as did the dialogue and their various interactions. I especially enjoyed how good Arthur was at avoiding questions--a subtle characterization that seems spot-on.
I enjoyed this very much. Saving this to my memories!
Thank you so much! I'm quite happy you enjoy my writing style as I have issues with it most of time (won't delve too deeply into that in case I provide TMI.) I'm honored to have a place in your LJ memories! :D
I keep on copying sentences because I want to claim this story but.... there are too many!
I've chosen my favorite though:
"... hangs his coat on the hook behind the door next to Eames' tweed jacket. He changes the bedsheets and burns a stack of folders containing information on the Bolivia job and then telephones the Vietnamese restaurant on Saks."
That is just beautiful. It has the normalcy and routine that we all seemed to crave for Arthur and Eames and yet there is that unusual, criminal side to their life that just slips in. I think it's exactly how I see them. Normal but so completely unusual.
Thanks for this. It was awesome. Loved every minute of it.
Thank you for reading! I've always seen them together as a kind of more-subdued Mr and Mrs Smith. I'd go for a more appropriate comparison but my brain isn't working right now and that's the best I've got. .__. ♥
oh man. i don't know what to say.. this story is the closest to that which induces synaesthesia when i read.. and i hear classy music from the monitor.. right. i'm not making sense because this story is too beautiful. thank you for sharing this! ♥
