I only come on here seldomly now. Every once in a while (I think the last time was five years ago), I'll make some sort of false promise to update, update update! But, of course, every time, the lure of facebook keeps me away. While I'm not promising to update more, I will do my best to update when I can.

Believe in the sacredness of this body - it is a gift that has been given to us and, must keep it intact. By crying 'mine, mine' and changing this body-tool, we are essentially living in ego and creating a separateness between ourselves and the divinity within us. I can't believe in a few months, I will have been on LJ for ten years. I mean, I haven't posted much in the last FIVE of those years, but still...

This is the first time I will be in agreement with anything Paris Hilton is asking for (she has tweeted a plea for donations to her followers). The southern part of the Philippines was hit by a terrible typhoon this past weekend. The death toll has exceeded 1,000, and is continually rising.
