So, for the last week I've been getting episodes nearly daily. The last three days alone I have woken up with an A-phib episode that lasted 3-4 hours. I've also felt like my heart was trying to go out of rhythm more often during the day, only succeeding at night when I lay down to sleep. I have never had this happen on this frequency. Had my yearly visit with the electrophysiologist yesterday. Despite the issues I had in the past couple months, all he could really say is that if my medicine helps or works, keep everything as-is unless it gets worse. Aside from a slight valve leakage and minor A-phib, what I have is benign and not cause for real alarm. Just ride out any episodes ( Read more... )

Another for the books. Woke up at 3:50am, it finally stopped at 6:30am. Now i hope i can get some sleep. -.-;

Just got home and I'm out or rhythm again. The trend lately has been driving home, as well as the classic wake me up in bed. Fuck this. I have an appointment next month with the electrophysiologist, I'm going to request upping my dosage. So this morning as I write I am of course having heart rhythm issues, for the 3rd time in 3 weeks. I didn't post but last week on the 22nd I also woke up with palpitations and decided to ride them out and just go to work. They subsided around 8am, after starting at midnight. Documenting my continuing heath of the heart rhythm. Last night I woke around 11:40pm with the usual. Heart out of rhythm, woke up from sleep. This episode lasted until 5pm. The longest so far. Took my meds as prescribed then just tried to relax. 17 hours straight of irregular heartbeats. I managed to get some sleep but hopefully tonight I can make ( Read more... )
