if there are changes to settings that are difficult for you I hope that you can appreciate the rather hefty task that was put before us, sacrifices had to be made and some things were just too damn awesome not to do. I hope that in FFmush you will find a very professional job by people who genuinely love the entire series and wanted to pay homage to it.

I hope that you will give our particularities the chance I believe they deserve with your free time. As we approach opening day my heart is warmed by your enthusiasm, and I hope we can all enjoy pretendy fun times together in our vision of Ivalice.

Yes and no. Garland is an eternal force of ear and chaos, but we're not generally using Dissidia's plotline... what there is of it.

War. I meant war. Not ear. You never even SEE his ears.

Can I watch TV, and if so, where and with how many channels

TV as we know it does not exist. The technology needed for common mass media uses is unavailable (except through Linkshells, which are audio-only).

That was kind of a flippant question but it does lead me to two questions, one of them simple and the other less so ( ... )

Why's it called St. Ivalice? Was there a Saint Ivalice?

I think St. Ivalice in those was more a town. Still, a place.

Buddy, for all the towns and cities around where I live that begins with 'Saint-something something', there's a crap tons of saints anyway. And I doubt some of them were saints at all.

What's the status of Doma? Has it been poisoned yet by Kefka?

destinthehero March 29 2011, 03:53:10 UTC
Doma has not been poisoned, exploded, or otherwise wiped out.

Yet.

Doma is also a freaking amazing marvel of defensive engineering, such that anyone who wants to take the city had best be prepared to lose an army or two.

Or be willing to commit atrocities.
