i'm currently ranked 39th out of 109 competitors in the tour da chicago.

that's about 20 places higher than I expected. I'm gunnin' for top 30!

against my better judgment, i got up this morning and rode the "chicago roubaix" stage of the tour da chicago. named after the famed paris-roubaix road race which goes over 60 miles of unmaintained cobblestones, it hit the very worst streets in chicago. I woke up to a nice coating of slushy snow over everything, but decided to tough it out anyway. ( Read more... )

ok, so the iphone is cool. like, really cool. cool enough that in 3 years when the price reaches reasonable, i'd think about switching to cingular to get one. who am i kidding? it's apple - the price will never go down, they'll just pile on features.
