now i understand the advice about always getting as far out of town as possible before trying to hitch. leah dropped me off at mlk boulevard a little north of downtown jacksonville, and there i saw something very interesting. kind of a character study of horror and disgust in the faces of the metropolitans on their way to work in the morning.
