that's an interesting business idea:

start up an offshore web service that allows you to transfer funds for income, payment for goods and services, everything... and taxes less than world governments, effectively "undercutting" the competition.

Don't imagine that I haven't thought on this. I sometimes suspect that the .com 'bubble' was taken down (and replaced with this half-assed attempt to resurrect the economics of WWII...) to prevent it.

yeah, BUT i'm still super capitalist. i want to have lots of money and a badass flying car, but i'd feel a lot less guilty about it if everyone else had food, shelter, medical.

turns out i bought a ticket from sydney to christchurch that now i can't use. instead i ended up flying totally last minute back to the americas to take care of some stuff i had to do. i'll eventually reach NZ for sure, though - my dad lives in sydney so i go back every now and then.

so moral is: i'm dumb, but hi! based on your extremely cool and noncreepy george michael look, i'm adding you.

i don't understand fighting en masse to remain employed by someone who treats you poorly.

This assumes that everybody has the option of not being employed (and still surviving) or being employed by someone who treats you well, doesn't it?
