The office staff was out in full force for the influx of students who would be coming in starting today.

They had a check-in sheet, room assignments, student handbooks, and a station to check your weapons. They were ready to get going.

Seely picked up his keys, he didn't really like the idea of a roomie, but at least it beat the barracks he'd been expecting.

Chad had never had a roommate before. But he wasn't really too concerned about not getting along with him. He took his key, shrugged heavily.

Lana came in looking a little flustered. "I got a message saying my room had been changed?"

"Lana Lang, right?" a drone asked. "Yes, you'll be in room 322 with a new student, Lavender Brown."

"O-kay..." Lana said. "This is..." She shook her head. "Never mind. Thanks, I guess." She took the key and managed a smile for the drone since it certainly wasn't their fault.

"...Co-ed rooms?!" Dean blinked rapidly as he looked at the list. Either that, or some poor guy had a really unfortunate name. He grabbed his key and mouthed his assignment to himself, making sure he'd remember. "511. With Lyra Belacqua."

It came as no surprise to Alfons that he would be sharing his room with someone else. Good thing he was quite used to it, else things might be awkward. He took his respective key and stared at it for a moment. 320. Someone named Zuko. All right, he could do this.

Lyra moved through the door, looking around in wary interest. She picked up her keys, scanning the list for her name. Room 511, with...

"A boy?"

She left the office with her key, shaking her head at the strangeness of it.

Teddy wanders over to the room assignment list to see where he's going to be living.

"Room 422, Wilhelmina? This is co-ed?"

Teddy walks away, feeling more somehow more nervous about this school then he did before.

The twins scanned the list and zoned-in on 305. "Good. We don't have to share with anyone." Hikaru murmurs before picking up their keys and handing one to Kaoru.

Matilda comes in and finds her name on the list quickly memorizing her room number and roomate's name. She takes her key and handbook and hurries out of the office.
