Kitchen sink is clogged. Put in drain cleaner. Didn't work, now I have a clogged sink and a drain filled with highly caustic fluid. Can I neutralize the stuff or will I need to siphon it out(if so, suggestions?) before I can take out the trap to check it?

Any suggestions that won't land me in the ER with chemical burns would be welcomed.

While waiting on George R. R. Martin to finally crank out the next batch of meth Fire and Ice novel, I like to idly try and work out my own cast for a movie/series based on it. Finally made 215 pounds on the benchpress. I'm gonna regret it tomorrow but till then, yay me. I've gotten as far as 205, then dropped back to 195 for several months. Nice to finally get past that limit again.

(edit)Also found out my brother can only do 190. Which is strange, because he's got quite a bit of muscle over me.

Finally cleaned out a bunch of junk from the dining room, the kitchen, and cut down three hedge bushes that I'd been meaning two for over a year. Also installed a programmable thermostat. Yay me. Still 80% of the house to go and four more hedges in back, though. I could use a full size dumpster right outside, with all the junk I try and throw out ( Read more... )

Fettucini Alfredo (technically linguini, not fettucine, but whatever) with italian sausage. Sauce made from scratch with heavy cream and butter, not that soybean oil stuff you buy in the store, with half Vermont sharp cheddar and half parmesan.

Got an FM transmitter for my D2 today, but it won't recognize the folders on the built in drive. It starts up and shows the menu, but when I try and play an mp3, video or picture it only shows the SD card(or nothing if that's not inserted ( Read more... )
