*g* Actually this was my first foray into writing something in which no one dies. :p When I sent this to a friend to beta, he was all "wait, but. No one DIES?! :o" so yeah. XD I'm expanding my horizons a bit, I wanted to see if I could write happy!fic, and I'm glad I managed, really. :D

And yeah, I get so sick of people just turning their girlfriend into bitches to get rid of them too. I mean, sure, I'd rather have Frank engaged to me rather than Jamia, but fics in which you can so clearly see that the author is writing his-/herself in the spot of whomever replaces the girlfriend, ugh. They make me vomit, honest.

Actually, you're not the first one to say that about that phrase, I dislike it myself, but I had no idea what else to put there. I asked around, really, but *shrug* If you've any suggestions, please, I'd gladly change it. :D
