Ah, I regretted reading this on my way to work because I had to get to the end of it despite the office having an open concept and my bosses were constantly strutting around. But I really loved it and I think all the risk was well-worth ♥

I really, really love this, anon. <3 It's so sweet and wonderful and funny and a little sad; sometimes almost to the point of being heartbreaking, and I love it all. I found it really interesting and refreshing how Kame's pregnancy was a result of an advertising campaign, and the way Kame and Nakamaru's relationship begins from "I need your sperm sample" to everything being perfect, with plenty of ups and downs in between. I had so many feelings reading this - with Kame struggling with wanting to protect, to be strong and stoic and Must Not Cry; wanting everything to be perfect at all costs, and then feeling disappointed and upset when things didn't go accordingly, when he couldn't think of a name, not having enough time to do everything he wants to before the baby arrives, the physical and emotional struggles pregnancy brings, when he finds himself needing Nakamaru more and more. Nakamaru - how he cares; cares /so much/, and does everything he can to help, but then gets cold feet and becomes terrified and unsure and distant, hurting
