Blood moon

There was a lunar eclipse last night.
I was actually able to take some pictures of it, and that enabled me to see what the fuss was all about.
It really was red.

Yay, thanks. I'm quite pleased with the shots myself, not half bad, considering I'm legally blind and was somewhat beer buzzed while I was taking them.
By the way, are you friends with maria anna, the one that got me into lj in the first place?
