I like this part, but I'm a little confused about the chronology. Given the interview with Pauline Kael, I thought this was set in season 5 (which would mean Chloe is 18 and therefore not underage), but Dominic's statements seem to suggest something different. And to be honest, if this *is* set in season 4 and Chloe is still in high school, there is no *way* that the Kents would actually just let it slide by.

I have played with chronoloy a bit in order to get things to fit the way I want them. But it is still Season 4- Chloe, Clark and Lana are just wrapping up their last year of school so she's not quite 18 yet.

The interview with Pauline Kahn was simply my own issue with the idea of instantaneous internships. Everyone I know got their internships lined up months in advance of actually starting them - so that's why.

I do agree that the Kents would make a bigger fuss - but then again, like Lionel pointed out it'd hardly be more than a blip on his radar reputation wise. How can you get a lower public opinion than having murdered your own parents for $$$? But the kind of scandal/publicity it would generate would stick with Chloe for quite a long time.

Oh, I meant to say that despite the timeline issues, I continue to really like your Chloe and Lionel characterizations here, especially their respective motives, and little scenes like Chloe demanding her steak seem very believable to me.

I'm loving this story. I have a passion for Chlionel, and you've captured them both beautifully. I liked Martha and Jonathan finding out. I can't wait to see how other people react if they find out.

I love all the potential wrongness that is Lionel and Chloe. lol. I think the show stumbled onto a very good thing with their scenes together.

I'm sure the rest of Smallville will welcome their relationship with open snuggly arms...

or, uh, maybe not!

Lovely. I'm very interested in this series (is it a series), and I can't wait to see more. But so far everything has been excellent; and your voices are perfect for the characters. Great job!
