This is a wonderful piece of DWP writing. They were BOTH impossibly 'in' character. I know for me that is sooooo hard to do.
Brava. It was smple, honest, straight forward. Even Miranda laughing was written exactly how her character should react. That is especially tough, since her serious persona can be hard to lighten and still stay true.
Anyhoo, I enjoyed it as a lovely piece of fluff and as a writer.
