What did you think of Hair?

the script was absolutely fabulous, i thought. very purposely offensive/shocking, but not gratuitously. it was relevant, you know? we had just gotten done studying the 60's in my Contemporary US History class so i got all the references. I really, really enjoyed it. Acting wise, it wasnt hard to tell they'd pulled it together without much rehearsing. I thought the star of the show was the girl who played Sheila, she was amazing. She was the ONLY female cast member that stood out. (actually, the pregnant girl obsessed with Claude was good too) but i watched everyone really closely during the musical numbers and alot of the girls not only didnt really know the words but had not very much expression and were shaky in the dance steps. and one of the duets was majorly off-key. not to come off too harsh, they all did a very good job considering the amount of time they had to work in. lights were great, set was great, it was overall thoroughly enjoyable.

wow, you should be a drama critic.... because you critiqued (sp?) so elequently and with so much... knowledge of how things should be done and big words. GOOD JOB!!!
