After rewatching the last ten minutes of this episode, what struck me the most were three words said by two women: “What happens now?” and “What happens next?”

OMG what a simple and perfect catch - it kinda sums up the whole thing.

I found it very telling that Hannah didn't get an answer to her question, whereas Brennan did - a brutally honest, painful one, but an answer nonetheless.

I totally get what you mean about Booth helping Brennan believe in love up until now and it now being her turn.. I guess Gordon Gordon was right when he told Sweets that they really aren't all that different.

Yeah! After rewatching a second time, I caught that and FREAKED. I love how subtle and perfect the contrast is between the two women's questions and his answer to those questions.

ILU MORE. <3 And Show is always golden, even when it seems like things are completely fucked up. XD

I love that subtlety too - I think the good things have been all in the subtlety this year - which has made them hard to spot sometimes but all the more satisfying when you do!
