Just went to my first Chess meetup - I played chess with my dad when I was a little girl and have not really played much of a serious game since then (okay really, how serious of a chess game can you play when you are in 6th grade & under?). Interview for Masters program...
Ah, went to my interview for the AC PNP (Acute & Chronic Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner) masters degree over at Rush. In anticipation of the interview and in an effort to get there early so I wouldn't be rushed & nervous, I ended up an hour early & ran into the woman who was going to interview me. GEESH!!! Least favorite word in the English language - Goodbye.
Ah, once again I find that I am saying goodbye - to my brother. He is leaving tomorrow for S. Korea & today was the last day I got to see him. His major complaint - he wishes he had more time here (that and it is going to be a pain to get re-acclimated to S. Korea and army living again). After having my brother stay at my place for a few days, my apartment feels strangely silent. It was so great to have Travis around for a little while - he is going to be with the rest of our family and friends for awhile (less than 22 days) before heading back to S. Korea.
