Late that evening as they were eating their dinner, Junno noticed Ueda keep on glancing at him and fidgeting in his seat.
“Is something wrong, Uepi,” Junno finally asked.
“…” Ueda sighed and stopped fidgeting and pushed his bowl to the side.
“What’s wrong? The food’s not nice?” Junno looked at Ueda worried.
“No Junno. That’s not it. I have something to tell you…” Ueda put his hand behind his head. “I think we should go to the living room to talk”
“O-okay,” Junno had seen Ueda being serious before but it felt different this time.
They cleared up the bowls and headed to the living room to seat on the sofa.
“Junno, can I sit on your lap instead?” Ueda said with a blush.
“Of course!” Junno said too enthusiastically and turned away to hide his blush. “Sure you can”
Ueda made himself comfortable on Junno’s lap then he wrap his arm around Junno. Junno wrapped his arm the other’s waist as support.
“Junno~ What will you do if I’m a mile away from you?”
“Eh? Hmm… I’m not sure. Why the sudden question?”
“Im flying of to France tomorrow for a course”
“WHAT?! Junno was shocked. “Why didn’t you tell me sooner?!”
“I’m sorry Junno… I was just…”
“Just what Uepi?” Junno was now on the verge of breaking into tears. “You’re gonna left here alone? Alone.”
“It’s just for five months. But the time I’m back it would be just nice as we celebrate Christmas together,”
“…” Junno just looked to side fighting back the tears that were threatening to fall.
“Junno~ Please~ I really need you to listen to me,” Ueda his face back and eyed him. “I love you. Even if we are miles apart, our heart will always beat as one and you will always be in my heart”
Ueda placed one of Junno on his heart and his eyes tries to say that everything will be okay. Junno lowered his head and just hug Ueda closer and tighter burying his face on Ueda’s chest. He cried and wanted badly for the other to stay. Ueda could only soothe the other by hugging back and caressing the back slowly.
“Let’s spend the night together alright?” Ueda suggested after Junno calmed down.
“Un~ I want to stay with you and be with you as long as I can,”
“Hahahah. You’re saying it like I’m dying or something,”
“I feel like a part of me just died knowing you will be gone,”
“Shush~ I’m here now. That’s all that matters. You have to send me off with a smile alright?”
Junno looked up at Ueda and slowly nodded. They spend the night together snuggling closer than earlier. Junno wanted time to stop so that Ueda wouldn’t need to leave him.
