Name that dog

wardytron and I have spent many months in debate over what we are going to call our 2nd whippet doggykins. We liked Oscar because it sounds cheeky and fun, but unusual and ever-so-slightly posh. Also, it shortens to Oz, and both are great to shout over Hove Lawns ( Read more... )

Not Hugh, I can tell you that.
My mate's dog's called Hugh.
It's not an easy name to shout.

Other names I like the sound of:

Rufus
Cooper

Maybe I'll take a look at that book of 101 dogs because it gives their names - someone else has bound to have come up with a good one.

I love the name Cooper for a dog. But I seem to associate it with bigger dogs, labradors and the like.
