When Karthik visited our lovely town, he expressed concerns about the various machinations of corporate industry that have made this place what it is. Of course, the majority of his experience was during the nighttime, which adds that extra end-times feel as you stare at a city made of lights, fire, and the dark clouds of our futures.
I really want to go down there at night with a good camera and take pictures, it's scarily beautiful and disgusting at the same time.
I always likened the BP complex to something out of Blade Runner. I've had more than one daydream about hunting down cyborgs in the midst of the plant.
Let's not forget Androids, which was the term I wanted to use. Cyborgs are our dear friends, besides, who'd want to take a shot at Robocop? But for Androids, fuck them - things like C3PO and Theodore Roosevelt have only caused us problems.
But still I like the concept you put forward. Freedom has been described in worse terms.
