This is an interesting look at Le Ping. He isn't written very often to start with, and people tend to write him as something quite different from how he is in canon. This feels rather genuine, instead, which really works. I would have liked to see more of it written as a scene instead of just from Le Ping's perspective, though.

I hate that your fic is the one that got posted just before blind_go drabbles did. Normally the mods there check with us and plan around, but this time they didn't. Gomen!

Thank you so so much for writing Le Ping/Isumi, especially through Le Ping's eyes. It is fresh and very interesting. I love it how Le Ping's goal is to get not just Isumi, but everybody else to notice him as well, first through his pranks and later through tricks in go. It's so very Le Ping.

Le Ping's game and subsequent conversation with Shindou are very nicely written. I love their interactions (and lol'ed at Le Ping's so very astute observation of Shindou and Touya's relationship).

The ending makes me smile! So very Le Ping. :>

Shindou's conversation with Le Ping was actually first part of this story that I wrote.

I think I told you once, that I would write/try to write you college!Kaga, I tried for fithmus but wasn't really getting anywhere. I kept going at it though, and I've finally got it done! See!

Le Ping's point of view was very entertaining. :) This bit (among others) made me laugh outloud:

It was a worthy goal he felt, and it kept him motivated through the boring teacher speeches about how he shouldn't run in hall ways, how he should keep his studies up and how he should take his teachers more seriously as they lectured him.
