Out of this shitty cold weather in a few days! I leave for Florida on the 20th. I'll be visiting family and mullet hunting at the South Florida Fair. Good times. -

I'm still getting over the fact that it's more or less a month since I've been back from Vegas. It seems like just yesterday and, sometimes, it feels like it's been so much longer. on the road from vegas
so ive been in vegas for two nights already and its been awesome. seeing as kinds of new things seen and tried. some stuff hasnt been my bag, but at lleast i ca say ive been to ghostbar now. today is my fav holiday and where else to party but in sin city? i supposed to make it home tomorrow but lets see -

I think, or at least hope, something good is finally happening. I am getting far ahead of myself, but something other than pessimistic or ambivalent thoughts is nice to have. Still have beat back that little voice, but I'm trying; damnit.

so for a complete change in pace, i am writing an entry not from the safety of my desk but from the "safety" of a gun range. yes, you read that right. sadly we are shooting the long guns right now and i am bore out my mind. pistols are my prefered gun, but alan just bought a new rifle so he is bogarting that to get the scope dialed in. So mostly I write for the sake of writing. Delaying thoughts of sleep, seems to be the overall goal. What do I have to update? I suppose it's worth saying that I'll be a whole year older in 2 weeks or so. Working that day (like always) but I've secured the next day off.
