Saturday was fun. Drove up (upwards on a map anyway) to hang out with Andy for a while. We met up at Marley to see the new “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.” I really have to start padding my estimated travel times. At least when I’m going from the very bottom of the beltway to the very top. Far too much nasty highway where things can go

Hm, have you read the book? That really does sound a lot more like the original story honestly. The first movie diverted away from it SOO much. The original story IS dark and twisted, not happy and cheery. Hm, I may actually like this one more if it’s anything like the book.

I did read it (or had it read to me anyway), but I was pretty young, sometime in early elementary school. I guess I remember the first movie a lot better then.
