Happy Birthday James and Bowie!

Got my car all paid off about a week ago, so I should be getting the title in the mail from Nissan shortly *cheer*. Almost exactly a year, according to plan. So for now I'm debt free, which opens up other options for other plans :).

Not sure who on my Friends list is looking for such a thing, but I happened to run across a place with PS3 bundles. 2 controllers and lots of games bundled, going for around 1k, depending on how decked out you want it. If it strikes anyone's fancy, here it is ( Read more... )

Wow, that was an evening. Went to a party, saw a drunk and enraged ex pour a bottle of tequila all over a lit gas grill, spreading fire all over the grill and deck under it. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Did my civic duty again this morning. Wasn't as hard to pick who to vote for as with the primaries. The one that thought VA brining in 1.5 Billion dollars in surplus tax money was grounds for raising taxes to bring in an additional 1.5 Billion in surplus, so that the first 1.5 billion wouldn't be lonely... yeah, didn't vote for that guy.

Halloween was pretty good this year. Unfortunately I was/am sick with a cold, so my head is all stuffed up and my throat is sore. And my ears, oh God, I have the biggest urge to pop my eardrums so they stop being all stuffed up and cloudy. Does anyone else get that? Saturday was fun. Drove up (upwards on a map anyway) to hang out with Andy for a while. We met up at Marley to see the new “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.” I really have to start padding my estimated travel times. Well, I did my civic duty and voted in the Virginia election today. Just the primaries, so nothing earth shattering yet. I was happy to see that a number of people going for Governor are strongly against raising taxes.
