I am trying unsuccessfully to put my thoughts into words so this will be a jumbled stream of my thoughts. Can our generation be saved and dont dismiss this question. I mean honestly what makes us so different from the million of other generations. Maybe it can. I dont think it can be done. Is that wrong? Dont dismiss this as something that if we ( Read more... )

"what makes us different from a million other generations?"
i have asked myself the same question a million times. I have asked God what makes me different from the thousands of others who have cried out for revolution before. i have not come to a conclusion, though i have to believe I am doing SOMETHING right. Even if that is preparing the way for God's future work. I do believe that i will see great things of God in my lifetime, but even if i dont see the restoration i know we need so desperately, I am willing to let God use me however he deems best so that others may see the fruit in the future. And now that i think about it that way, i thank God for the many generations that cried out before us. I dont think they failed. I think they built a foundation for us.

do you think Joshua thought "what makes us differant than any other group that has tried to take Jericho?" not to say pondering such is not a good idea...but if you stop at "what makes it differant this time?" you never get to the "what if G-d is going to move this time?" and "how can i not miss the move?"

I don't think your getting what I am saying I dont know maybe I suck at communicationg. I don't know I need more time to think then my thoughts will be straight. I guess I am trying to say that 95% of the people in our little community don't realy want a revival maybe they say they do but maybe they could care less. Why would God answer something when hardly anyone wants the answer? People don't want God thats what I guess I am saying. I could be completly wrong I could just be having a dark week but I am not sure.

so yeah another stream of thoughts if you can make sense of that I am not sure what to think anymore.

One thing I know is that the Lord does not need strength in numbers.

keep hope. The Lord is powerful enough to use one person to change a nation... and he woundn't even need that.

and stop saying you suck at communicating

Why would God make something happen that people dont want. Most of christianty is about free will. I am not saying this to argue I just am thinking through this and I am trying for some input other than what I normaly have.

i hear what you are saying. i think that you might be looking at what the Church doesn't have, or what it is missing- rather than what it does have, or could have.
