Loving the little things...
We spent the day in Flagstaff, and we are snowed in. We had lots of hot tea, I have a new book, and we enjoyed each other's company. May these small and beautiful moments last forever...

I did something for myself yesterday. It was the very first time in years. I spent my childhood, adolescence, and 20s without a voice. I started painting yesterday. It was just for me. I feel like it changed my outlook about every little thing. I am a person and I matter.

continental style meals
While I've been off from school we've been making lovely continental-style meals for our little family. The problem is that these types of meals can take quite a while to eat.
